About Mrs. Moe
Bio:
I received my teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2004, with an endorsement in elementary education and specialized endorsement for 6-8 science and language arts. I began working at St. Francis Xavier in the fall of 2004 as a 5th grade teacher. In the fall of 2010, I moved up to the middle school to teach language arts. Feeling a call to missionary work, I left for the Marshall Islands in 2011 where I taught for a year on an outer island (think no electricity and no running water for a year!) It was a FANTASTIC experience! When I returned home, I taught middle school religion part-time for a year while I finished my Master's Degree in education, which I completed in May of 2012. After I got my Master's, I took off for Ann Arbor where I taught middle school science, language arts, and religion for 2 years at Spiritus Sanctus Academy. I met my husband while teaching downstate and moved back to northern Michigan to be with him. We were married in August of 2015. Currently, I teach 6th and 7th grade religion and LOVE every minute of it!
